The terms
$499
Per engineer, per month. No setup fee. Salary is passed through at cost. Local employer costs are typically about a fifth of salary, itemized on the same invoice. A senior salary is usually about $3,500 a month, so the fee on that salary is $499.
Within the first 30 days, if the person is not the right fit, we find a replacement and do not charge for that search. If you hire them onto your own company within 12 months, a placement fee applies. The amount is in the agreement you sign before the first interview.
A comparable role in the United States is usually about $15,000 a month, fully loaded. The difference is about $130,000 a year, before local employer costs.
- What do I pay?
- The salary, passed through at cost. Local employer costs are typically about a fifth of salary, itemized at cost. Our fee is $499 a month.
- What if the person is not the right fit?
- Within the first 30 days we find a replacement and do not charge for that search.
- What if we hire them onto our own company?
- If that happens within 12 months, a placement fee applies. The amount is in the agreement you sign before the first interview.
- Who owns the code?
- Your company. Ownership is assigned in writing, from the engineer to us, and from us to you.
Employment
The engineer is employed by our Vietnamese company, under a contract in Vietnamese and English. Intellectual property is assigned from the engineer to us, and from us to your company. Both parties sign a non-disclosure agreement. Hours, leave, and Tet are on the Vietnam page. We review the structure with you before the start date.
